Located near Watrous, Saskatchewan, Camp Easter Seal is a wheel chair accessible resort on Manitou Lake. This beautiful facility provides a vacation like environment for adults and children with disabilities.
Camp Easter Seal is operated by the Saskatchewan Abilities Council and is open from June through August. Ten camping sessions are offered.
Our Fall Mini Rally is held each year at Manitou Regional Park and it seemed like a good match to support this charitable organization.
Our first donation was made in 2010 and has continued each year since. Pictured is our Assistant Provincial Director Vince Leonard presenting a cheque following our 2023 fall Rally.
In addition to Provincial support, various chapters have assisted Camp Easter Seal with the purchase of pool furniture and have provide help on work projects.
At each of our spring Rally money raised at the Sunday Church Service, coffee donation fund, and our yearly aluminum tabs contest is donated to various charity organizations throughout the province.
Some of those organizations are:
Dave Kossick and Marcel Voyer presenting a cheque for $500.00 to Katrina Sawchuk, principal of St. Mark's school to pay for underprivileged kids to go to summer camp at Camp Kadesh in 2019.
Wheatland Sams making a $500.00 donation to STARS.
Heartland Sams making a $500.00 donation to STARS.
